This weekend I got the load-testing frame done and a test bridge made so I can evaluate the bracing under real-world stresses. I also conducted a sussessful test of yet another bracing design, this one with a lower-density epoxy mixture and aluminum honeycomb with carbon fiber skins on both sides. This turns out to be much lighter, stiffer, and more stable than the HPL-honeycomb-CF sandwich.
